從三月底到前陣子，我不住的禱告，希望主耶穌像醫治畢士大池子旁的癱子，醫治我的腳讓我起來行走，但主一直沒有應允我的乞求，我的腳越來越嚴重，如今因著腫瘤，我還有可能喪命。在這過程當中我實在軟弱，常常灰心喪志，只看見自己的缺乏，沒有看見主的豐盛，當別人說我很堅強，我知道我不配，若不是主的恩典，我常常被自己的病痛打敗。
知道自己罹癌後，教會有位同樣罹癌的姐妹和我分享時提到：每次住院早上看診時，教會長老會分享一些經文，堅固我和陪病家人的信心，每當我眼目只注意病痛時，他就又把我們帶到上帝面前，一次次堅固信心，一次次得釋放，很特別的經歷。
我能深深體會被疾病所苦的感覺，那是一種內耗，外人不容易察覺的，自己每天要對抗疼痛，努力維持生活日常，在沒食慾的時候強迫自己好好吃頓飯，在身體疼痛的時候，還是給家人們一個大擁抱。看著她的經歷，心中很被激勵，希望能在軟弱的時候，一次次信心被堅固，疼痛時，一次次得著釋放。當我定睛在自己的病痛時，能一次次轉眼仰望耶穌，在祂榮耀光中，讓週圍的黑暗淡去。
